The Quantum Credit board consists of skilled and experienced business finance professionals with competency in various disciplines including, short term business finance, commercial property finance, law, banking, corporate finance, property development finance and credit and risk management.
Neil is the founding partner and managing director of RMB Corvest. He has extensive experience in commercial banking including retail, corporate and international banking. He joined the banking industry in 1978 and has specialised in private equity since 1985.
Dick is a founding partner and director of RMB Corvest. After gaining experience in business loans and lending with the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, Dick joined the banking industry and commenced his career in private equity in 1986.
Richard founded the Quantum Credit Group in 2001. Over the years since then as a financier, Richard has negotiated and settled hundreds of construction, business and investment loans. As a director of Quantum, Richard’s areas of responsibility include strategy, credit and sales – structuring short term business finance and property development finance.
Prior to his time with Quantum, Richard spent 6 years with Deloitte & Touche in Johannesburg and London and then 10 years as founding partner of Watermans Chartered Accountants in Johannesburg where his primary focus was business consulting and development.
Richard’s previous board/committee positions in South Africa include director of various public companies including Daily Sun Newspapers Limited and Vacutex Limited, Past Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Treasurer of Rotary South Africa.
Marius qualified as a solicitor in South Africa and he serviced the short term finance industry as principal of a commercial law practice for eight years. Marius then co-founded and acted as CEO of a structured leasing business that was acquired in October 2000 by Peregrine Holdings Ltd, a company listed in the financial services sector on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Following the acquisition, Marius served as the CEO of Peregrine Asset Finance Pty Ltd, a subsidiary within the Peregrine Group.
Marius joined the Quantum Credit group in 2004. As a director of Quantum Credit, Marius’ areas of responsibility include credit and operational oversight for all short term business finance and property development finance.
Peter has 18 years of experience in the Australian banking and business finance industry, rising to Branch Management level, and a further 19 years’ experience as a Finance Broker.
He has spent the past 9 years at the helm of the Group’s finance broking entity, Total Flexi Finance. Peter brings to the Group a vast amount of experience in residential, commercial and equipment finance.
At Quantum Credit, Peter is a Business Development Executive involved in all aspects of the loan sales process, from preliminary assessment of applications for short term business finance, through deal preparation and credit submission, to negotiation of the terms for business loans and settlement of them.
With extensive experience in commercial, business and property development finance loans after more than 18 years in the industry, Rhode is the Operations and Credit Executive at Quantum Credit.
Rhode has worked at various investment and commercial banks in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in both credit and sales roles. He has been responsible for successfully establishing a bank business division with assets in excess of $300m and he has been a director of a listed property fund.
Having moved to Australia in 2005 he has spent the past 11 years in commercial property finance and broking – for both small private companies and major banks. His focus has been, and remains, great client service and customised solution delivery for all short term business finance.
Jacques entered the financial arena in 1996 as an accountant at Genial Accounting where his areas of expertise were taxation and audit. He became a partner of the firm in 2001 and grew his portfolio to a total of 500 companies, trusts and individuals. Jacques immigrated to Australia in May 2007 where he joined Quantum Credit as Loans Manager.
Jacques' current area of responsibility is as Loans Manager with responsibility for all aspects of loan management from short term business finance set up, through loan funding and settlement and on to loan management and collections.
